Premise

This tutorial will teach you and your players the basics of combat by walking through a fight with a Strange Shell creature and its aggressive pincer wielding friend. This tutorial will lay out the fight and then teach you and the players how to take a turn, use a maneuver, control the monsters, and cast magic. It is expected that you understand how the deck works and how to perform a Skill check. This scenario can be played without understanding these things, but just note they will not be covered in detail here.

A Perplexing Puzzle

Premise

This tutorial will teach you and your players the basics of adventuring by explaining, step by step, an scenario where a team of adventurers solves a puzzle at the end of a dungeon. This tutorial will lay out the setting, the scene, the dangers, and the goal. Then, teach you and your players how to perform a Skill check, use a Recovery Skill, and upgrade your cards. Additionally, this game will give you, the Dealer, the basics of how to create a skill check, and apply degrees of success to the result of a player’s action.
